JAZZ BAND

Jazz Band is an audition-only group. Jazz Band is an extension of the instrumental music program; members must be a current member of Symphony or Concert Band/Orchestra. The Jazz Band performs at some of the most well-known venues in the city of Detroit and surrounding area and consistently receives first division ratings at MSBOA State Jazz Festival. Rehearsals take place twice a week outside the school day; on Mondays from 6:30-8:30 PM, and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 PM. All rehearsals are required.
